The Portugal forward opened his European club goals account in Manchester United's 3-0 win against Debrecen on 9 August 2005. He went on to score 15 more goals on a Manchester United shirt (to make it 16) before heading to Real Madrid where he has racked up incredible 84 goals in UEFA elite competitions, making him the first player in history to achieve such feat. And he did it against the mighty Bayern in a great comeback win.
